Product Description:

The ZC5 mortar rebound hammer is a pointer‑type, direct‑reading rebound instrument independently developed and designed by our factory. This product employs a tension spring to drive the impact hammer, which acts on the mortar surface via an impact rod. During the instantaneous elastic deformation of the mortar, the restoring force causes the impact hammer to pull back the pointer, thereby indicating the rebound distance. The rebound value is one of the key indicators for assessing the compressive strength of mortar and can be used to estimate the compressive strength and grade of masonry mortar in ordinary sintered bricks or sintered porous brick masonry. However, it is not suitable for estimating the strength of masonry mortar subjected to high temperatures, prolonged water immersion, fire, or environmental erosion. In accordance with the national industry standard ZC5, this mortar rebound hammer is applicable for strength testing within the range of 2 to 15 MPa.
