Description
Product Introduction:
A sealing tester, also known as a seal integrity tester, sealing tester, sealing test machine, seal performance tester, or seal integrity detector, is a testing device used to evaluate the sealing performance of packaging. It is primarily employed by manufacturing and processing enterprises to assess the seal integrity of containers such as bags, bottles, cans, tubes, and boxes in the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries, thereby ensuring that product quality is not compromised by package leakage and extending shelf life. This testing instrument serves as a sampling‑inspection tool for use on production lines or in laboratories.
It is suitable for negative-pressure sealing and microbial ingress testing of pharmaceutical glass vials, lyophilization vials, plastic solid‑dose containers, blister packs, aluminum‑plastic flexible pouches, syringes, pipettes, vacuum‑sealed bags, canned goods, powdered‑milk pouches, aluminum‑foil pouches, eye‑drop bottles, medical‑device packaging, liquid pouches, jelly cups, capped containers, cosmetic bottle pouches, and other packaging materials. It is widely used in industries such as pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmaceutical packaging material producers, drug‑testing centers, medical‑device companies, food enterprises, and cosmetics firms for seal integrity testing.
Reference standard:
Complies with multiple standards, including GB/T 15171, ASTM D3078, ISO, and others.
Test principle:
By evacuating the vacuum chamber, an internal–external pressure differential is established across the specimen immersed in water, allowing observation of gas leakage from within the specimen to assess its sealing performance. Alternatively, by creating a pressure differential through vacuum evacuation, the specimen’s expansion and its ability to regain its original shape upon release of the vacuum are observed, thereby evaluating its sealing integrity.
Product Features:
- Touchscreen control makes operation even simpler, while curve-based display of data results is more intuitive.
- The vacuum chamber is made of highly transparent acrylic, ensuring robustness and durability.
- Multiple operating modes, supporting multi-segment constant-voltage testing, and offering simple, convenient testing.
- Automatic constant-pressure gas replenishment ensures that the experimental process is conducted under the preset vacuum.
- It employs vacuum components, ensuring stable performance and long-lasting durability.
- One-click operation: automatic vacuum switching, automatic test termination, and automatic pressure relief.
- Multi-unit selection: kPa, MPa, bar, PSI;
- Built-in storage, with a maximum capacity of 500 historical data records.
- Free switching between Chinese and English operating systems
- Multi-segment constant pressure, curve display, and audit trail support.
- Built-in printer, one-click printing of test results.
- No external air supply required; simple and elegant, with reduced noise.

User account: Admin Default factory password: 123456
2 Home Page

Start: Enter trial testing;
Stop: Stop the experiment;
Sky‑Ripping: Manual Sky‑Ripping completed upon test completion;
Save: Save the test data.
Print: Print the sampled data using the built-in printer.
3 Test Plan

Test modes: Standard mode, Time mode, Multi‑stage Constant‑Pressure mode;
Standard Mode: Use the standard mode to test air pressures above 40 kPa.
Time mode: Use time mode when testing pressures below 40 kPa.
Multi‑stage constant‑voltage mode: We recommend using the multi‑stage constant‑voltage mode.
Test Product Name: Enter the name of the test sample product;
Unit selection: kPa, MPa, bar, PSI;
Vacuum Value Setting: Set the test vacuum value, with a maximum setting of 90 kPa.
Holding Time: Set the holding time, with a maximum of 999,999 seconds.
Pressure maintenance:
Select “
“Indicates that the pressure-holding function is enabled; select “
“No pressure-holding function.”
Note: Once the set vacuum level is reached, the system automatically enters the pressure‑holding mode, and the pressure‑holding countdown begins. If the vacuum pressure inside the chamber falls below the set value, the equipment will automatically perform a pressure‑boosting cycle.
4 Historical Data

Next: Scroll down to view the next record in sequence.
Previous: Starting from the second record, clicking “Previous” allows you to view the record immediately preceding the current one.
Printing: Outputs data via the built-in printer, printing one record at a time.
Delete: Deletes data, one record at a time.
5 Settings
5.1 General Settings

Storage: Select “Automatic” to store data automatically upon test completion, or select “Manual” to store data manually.
Whether to display the pass/fail window: Select “Yes” to display a pass/fail confirmation window upon completion of the test; select “No” to suppress the window.
Language: Supports both Chinese and English
Power-on auto-zero: Select “On” to reset the current vacuum reading to zero upon startup; select “Off” to display the actual pressure inside the chamber.
Time Setting: Under normal circumstances, no calibration is required; the device is pre‑set at the factory. If you need to adjust it yourself, press the Settings button to bring up the keyboard dialog, enter the year, month, day, hour, and minute, then confirm to return.
5.2 System Settings

The audit trail interface provides a clear view of user activities, including the time and date of each operation, the user who performed it, and the details of the action. Logs can be navigated by paging forward or backward.
5.3 User Management
The user management interface includes a user list, a “Create User” button, a “Delete User” button, and fields for username, password, and permissions. Clicking the “Create User” button brings up a new user creation window, where you can enter a username and password; after saving, click “Return.”

After the user is created, click the Permissions tab to select and grant the appropriate permissions; once the settings are configured,
Click the bottom-right corner to go back.
Preparation before powering on:
- First, connect the sealed container according to the instrument’s interface markings.
- Check the vacuum pump oil level.
- Fill the sealed container with purified water up to the marked line.
- Prepare the test samples.
Test steps:
- Connect the power supply and turn on the switch located on the right rear side of the instrument to power up the device.
- Place the test product inside the sealed container, then close the lid (ensure the sealing ring is properly aligned and that the liquid level does not exceed the recommended height).
- Set the vacuum level and holding time according to the test requirements.
- After completing the settings, press the “Start” button. The instrument will automatically evacuate the chamber; once the vacuum level reaches the set value, it will begin timing. Upon reaching the hold‑pressure duration, the instrument will automatically vent the chamber (or allow manual venting), and the test will be completed.
- After the instrument’s vacuum reading has been reset to zero, open the chamber lid and remove the test sample.
Note 1: It is recommended to use distilled water or colorless, impurity-free tap water. After the specimen is immersed in water, the distance between the top of the specimen and the water surface shall be no less than 25 mm. Ensure that all parts of the specimen can be observed for leakage during the test; one or multiple specimens may be tested at a time.
Note 2: During the vacuum‑evacuation and pressure‑holding phases, carefully observe the specimen for any signs of leakage by checking for the presence of continuous bubbles; isolated, single bubbles are generally not considered evidence of leakage. Alternatively, after the test is completed, remove the specimen, open it, and inspect it: if no water has penetrated, the specimen is deemed合格; otherwise, it is不合格.
