This test system is designed according to user‑specific testing requirements and is primarily intended for the evaluation of large, high‑strength bolted connections used in wind‑energy equipment. It performs static torsional tests on high‑strength bolts, complying with the provisions of GB 1231‑2024 “Technical Specifications for High‑Strength Large Hexagonal Bolts, Large Hexagonal Nuts, and Washers for Steel Structures” and GBT 32076.8‑2017. The system comprises a mainframe, a testing mechanism, a loading mechanism, an integrated control and data‑acquisition system, a computer with dedicated test software, and various accessories. It is an ideal high‑performance testing solution for industrial and mining enterprises, quality‑inspection agencies, research institutes, and higher‑education institutions. The system is suitable for conducting torsion‑tension mechanical performance tests on high‑strength bolts and large hexagonal bolts, enabling the measurement of bolt‑nut preload parameters such as torque, rotation angle, and axial force. It can also determine the torque coefficient of large‑size, high‑strength bolted joints, while automatically displaying results and storing and outputting test data. The instrument autonomously records test data and, via a microcomputer, calculates key statistical metrics including average axial force, average torque, average torque coefficient, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation. Furthermore, it generates technical indicators such as the relationships among torque coefficient, torque–axial force, and rotation angle, and produces corresponding curves depicting torque–axial force–torque coefficient correlations.
