Product Introduction:
The JCT180 coating thickness gauge is suitable for measuring the thickness of electroplated layers, paint coatings, enamel layers, aluminum‑clad sheets, copper‑clad sheets, babbitt alloy bearings, and phosphating films, as well as paper. It can also be used to measure the thickness of ship‑hull paints and fouling on underwater structures. This instrument finds broad application in manufacturing, metalworking, the chemical industry, commodity inspection, and other testing fields.
Main Features
● A variety of probe types are available; by selecting the appropriate probe, it is possible to measure both the thickness of non‑magnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates and the thickness of non‑conductive coatings on non‑magnetic metal substrates.
● The probe’s contact components are hard-chrome plated or made of ruby, ensuring long-lasting durability;
● Automatic probe recognition;
● Upper and lower limit values can be set; when the measurement result is greater than or equal to either limit, the instrument will emit an audible alert or flash a light indicator.
● Errors are indicated via on-screen display or audible beeps;
● Five statistical measures are provided: mean (MEAN), maximum value (MAX), minimum value (MIN), number of tests (NO.), and standard deviation (S.DEV).
● Equipped with probe zero-point calibration, single-point calibration, and two-point calibration functions, and capable of correcting the probe’s systematic errors using the basic calibration method;
● Optionally equipped with microcomputer software, offering a wide range of functions including transmission of measurement results, measurement data storage and management, statistical analysis of measurement values, and printing of measurement reports.
● Communication functionality: connects to a PC, enables data analysis via computer software, and supports report printing, among other features.
● Features an ABS plastic housing that is compact, portable, and robustly durable, suitable for harsh operating environments and resistant to vibration, impact, and electromagnetic interference.
