Description
Product Introduction:
Handheld high-precision ultrasonic thickness gauge with digital display and A/B-scan functionality. It employs the pulse‑echo ultrasonic thickness‑measurement principle and is suitable for measuring the thickness of materials in which ultrasonic waves propagate at a constant speed and can be reflected from the back side. Measurement resolution reaches 0.001 mm, with a measurement range as thin as 0.11 mm (steel), and it can effectively penetrate coating interference.
This product is applicable across a wide range of industries, including petroleum, chemical processing, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aerospace, and energy. It is suitable for measuring the thickness of metals (such as steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, etc.), plastics, ceramics, glass, fiberglass, fibers, and other materials that are excellent ultrasonic conductors.
Complies with the standard “Calibration Specification for Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges” JJF 1126-2004.
Main Features
● Wide measurement range: minimum measurable thickness 0.11 mm (steel), maximum measurable thickness 1800 mm (range depends on the probe);
● High-precision thickness measurement, with a maximum measurement resolution of 0.001 mm and a repeatability of ±0.002 mm;
● A-scan mode, B-scan mode, and numerical display mode;
● Features penetration through coatings and echo‑to‑echo measurement, enabling the measurement of materials with paint or coating layers on their surfaces;
● Depending on the material’s acoustic velocity, it can detect coatings and paint layers on certain composite materials; it can simultaneously measure the thicknesses of more than ten layers in multilayer materials, with the ability to switch between displaying the thickness values of each layer under the same echo.
● Multiple measurement modes: MB‑E, I‑E, E‑E, and ME‑E are designed for measuring standard‑thickness workpieces, while the THIN mode is intended for thin‑section measurements.
● The numerical modes include the conventional thickness value mode, the difference/reduction ratio mode, and the extremum mode;
● Gain mode: Automatic gain / Manual gain;
● Supports both manual and automatic shutdown, with an energy-saving feature;
● Supports a variety of probe types, including dual‑crystal and single‑crystal probes, with maximum compatibility for 20 MHz high‑frequency probes.
● Supports large-capacity storage, capable of simultaneously storing 100,000 thickness readings, 500 A-scan waveforms, and 500 B-scan waveforms.
● Offers multiple calibration methods, supporting single-point calibration, multi-point calibration, and manual calibration modes; it can simultaneously calibrate sound velocity and probe zero offset. It also supports V‑path calibration.
● Imperial–metric conversion: switch between millimeters and inches;
● Display in Chinese and English.
