The CHRTS-150ZSD fully automatic Rockwell hardness tester series is a next‑generation, cutting‑edge intelligent instrument. It features a closed‑loop loading control system, delivering high test force accuracy and excellent repeatability and stability of readings. With a modern, innovative design, it offers outstanding reliability, ease of operation, and reproducibility, while providing comprehensive functionality, one‑button operation, fully automated measurement, and clear, intuitive display. Equipped with automatic application and removal of test force, it supports hardness testing across the entire Rockwell scale range. This hardness tester can be optionally fitted with an XY automatic positioning stage for automated programming and point‑by‑point testing, making it ideal for end‑quench tests. It also supports PC connectivity, enabling computer‑based control and measurement, as well as statistical data analysis and the generation of test reports; custom report formats can be tailored to meet specific user requirements. With its fully automated operation, it eliminates human error in handling and reading measurements. Additionally, the unit is equipped with an emergency stop device for enhanced safety.

The Rockwell hardness test measures the depth of indentation, with the hardness value read directly from the indicator. This makes it simple and convenient to operate, easy to master, and highly efficient, making it well suited for the inspection of batch‑produced components. The Rockwell method can employ either a diamond indenter or a hardened steel ball, enabling the measurement of both hard and soft materials and offering a broad range of applications. Consequently, Rockwell hardness testing is widely used in manufacturing, serving as a key means of assessing product quality and establishing appropriate processing parameters. Rockwell hardness testers are commonly employed by manufacturing enterprises, colleges and universities, and research institutions for hardness testing, as well as for educational and scientific research purposes.

Main functions and features:

1. The 8-inch LCD touch display provides a clear, intuitive visualization of hardness values, converted hardness scales, test methods, test forces, brightness, initial test force hold time, total test force hold time, elastic recovery time, number of measurements, statistical data, test duration, and other key parameters of the testing process.

2. The system features a built-in calibration function that can automatically adjust the error range to 80–120%, or perform separate calibrations for low and high values.

3. When testing curved surfaces, automatic correction is applied based on the standard surface radius.

4. It can store 100 sets of test data, allows you to view the data at any time, and enables you to delete the current data or clear all test data; it also supports setting a product name.

5. The units of test force can be converted between each other; the conversion units are: (kgf, N).

6. Can simultaneously display: average value, number of tests, and product name;

The main interface can simultaneously display four conversion scales and allows switching among the following standards: Chinese National Standard (GB), American Standard (ASTM), and International Standard (ISO). A total of 20 measurement scales are supported for conversion, including HRA, HRB, HRC, HRD, HRE, HRF, HRG, HRK, HR15N, HR30N, HR45N, HR15T, HR30T, HR45T, HK, HBW, HS, HBS, HV, and Rm (tensile strength).

8. The screen sleep timer can be set; after a prolonged period of inactivity, the device automatically enters sleep mode, saving energy and protecting the environment.

9. The upper and lower measurement limits can be set and displayed on the main measurement screen; non‑conforming values trigger an automatic alarm.

10. The operating system supports 14 languages, which can be switched at will: Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Czech, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese.

11. Equipped with a built-in printer; test data can also be exported via USB to a USB flash drive for storage and analysis (optional).

12. The structure remains stable and does not deform; the pure white automotive paint boasts a high-grade finish, excellent scratch resistance, and retains its like-new shine even after years of use.
