In the preparation of metallographic specimens, grinding and polishing are indispensable steps; after these processes, the specimen surface attains a mirror‑like finish. The MP‑2DT metallographic grinder‑polisher features a touch screen that enables stepless speed adjustment of the grinding/polishing disc between 50 and 1,000 r/min. By switching between metallographic sandpapers and polishing cloths, both grinding and polishing can be performed, offering broad versatility. The housing is integrally molded by vacuum forming, giving it a modern appearance, while the machine boasts smooth rotation, low noise, user‑friendly operation, and high productivity. It also incorporates a built-in cooling system that cools the specimen during grinding and polishing, preventing overheating that could damage the microstructure.

5. Stepless speed control with eight fixed-speed settings, offering convenience and speed to meet a variety of needs.
