The MP‑2B metallographic grinder‑polisher employs a variable‑frequency drive, enabling stepless speed regulation of the grinding/polishing disc within the range of 50–1000 r/min. By switching between abrasive sandpapers and polishing cloths, both grinding and polishing can be performed, offering broad versatility. Its dual‑disc design allows two operators to work simultaneously, while the housing is manufactured using an integrated thermoforming process, resulting in a modern, sleek appearance. The unit features smooth rotation, low noise, user‑friendly operation, and high productivity, and it incorporates a built‑in cooling system that cools the specimen during grinding and polishing, thereby preventing overheating and potential damage to the microstructure.
