Product Introduction:

This instrument is suitable for testing the resistance of coated fabrics to repeated flexural failure.

Reference standard:

BS 3424 P9, ISO 7854, and GB/T 12586 Method B (S childkmecht), among others.

Test principle:

A rectangular strip of coated fabric is wrapped around two opposing cylinders, forming a cylindrical specimen. One of the cylinders undergoes reciprocating motion along its axis, alternately compressing and relaxing the coated fabric cylinder and thereby inducing folding in the specimen. This folding continues until a predetermined number of cycles is reached or until visible failure occurs in the specimen.
