Product Introduction:

This instrument is suitable for testing the resistance of coated fabrics to repeated flexural failure.

Reference standard:

BS 3424 P9, ISO 7854, and GB/T 12586 Method A (De Mattia method), among others.

Test principle:

Fold the rectangular coated fabric strip twice so that its long edges meet, forming a 125 mm × 12.5 mm strip. Mount this folded strip between a pair of flat clamps, one of which is capable of reciprocating motion, thereby causing the folded specimen to bend outward five times per second. This high‑speed folding continues until the predetermined number of cycles is reached or the specimen exhibits visible failure.
