The ozone aging test chamber is a comprehensive climatic testing device that, in addition to conducting climate‑aging tests, can also evaluate the ozone resistance of polymeric materials, thereby reproducing the destructive light waves present in various environments. By simulating and replicating the harmful agents found in different environments, it offers targeted environmental simulation and accelerated testing for scientific research, product development, and quality assurance. It supports material selection, the refinement of existing materials, and the evaluation of how alterations in material composition impact durability, effectively mimicking the changes that occur when materials are exposed to ozone under various environmental conditions. By exposing materials to ozone, its ozone‑resistance can be assessed. The chamber also features controlled relative humidity, a critical function for many moisture‑sensitive materials; moreover, numerous test protocols mandate humidity control.
