Description
Wire and Cable Rubber and Plastic Ozone-Resistant Aging Test Chamber, Ozone-Resistant Aging Test Chamber
Product Introduction:
The ozone aging test chamber is primarily used to evaluate the ozone‑resistance of polymeric materials and their products. Although ozone occurs in very low concentrations in the atmosphere, it remains a major factor driving the aging of polymeric materials and their articles. By simulating and intensifying atmospheric ozone conditions, the chamber enables rapid attainment of test results that closely approximate real‑world service performance or allow for reproducible outcomes. It facilitates the study of ozone’s effects on polymeric materials and rubber products, provides a means for quickly assessing and ranking the ozone‑resistance of rubbers and the efficacy of antiozonants, and supports the implementation of effective anti‑aging strategies to extend the service life of rubber goods.
Product Features of the Ozone Aging Test Chamber
1. Imported ozone concentration control analyzer, featuring standard signal output and sampling capabilities.
2. Machined on CNC equipment for a sleek, elegant design; features a handle-free door for effortless operation.
3. The ozone aging test chamber features a fully independent heating system, with a nickel-chromium alloy electric heater.
(1) Cabinet Structure:
1. Inner box material: SUS304 stainless steel sheet (1.2 mm thick)
2. Outer box material: Cold-rolled sheet steel
3. Testing machine insulation system: PU foam and glass fiber
4. Heater: 304 stainless steel U-shaped heating tube with fish-scale‑style fins
5. Humidifier: 304 stainless steel U-shaped humidification tube
6. Ozone Generator: A silent, high-voltage corona‑discharge ozone generator that efficiently and rapidly assesses and evaluates the ozone‑resistance of rubber and the protective efficacy of antiozonants.
7. Ozone Concentration Automatic Control System: Simulates and intensifies atmospheric ozone conditions to investigate the mechanisms by which ozone affects rubber.
8. Sample rack: Constructed from SUS304 stainless steel, punched and bent into a mesh structure for ease of use; the spacing between shelves is adjustable, and samples are evenly distributed with a load capacity of ≥50 kg per shelf.
(II) Refrigeration System:
1. The refrigeration unit is equipped with a Thermo King compressor from France and uses DuPont’s environmentally friendly refrigerant (R404a), enabling the use of different compressors to optimize performance across various temperature ranges.
2. It employs a stainless steel tube with an internally mounted nickel-chromium alloy high-speed heating element and high-temperature magnesium oxide powder, ensuring rapid response and long service life.
(3) Protection System:
Overall equipment overtemperature, fan overheating protection, phase loss/reverse phase in the entire system, refrigeration system overload, refrigeration unit overpressure, timed operation for the entire system, as well as additional protections such as leakage current detection, operating status indication, and automatic shutdown upon fault alarm.
(4) Control System:
1. High-precision, weighable color touch-screen instrument (TEMP880)
2. Sensor: Pt100 temperature sensor
3. Ozone sensor: electrochemical ozone sensor
4. Convenient data processing: It can be connected to a printer or an RS‑232 communication interface, features a USB data transfer port (USB flash drive), displays data on a computer, and prints temperature–humidity and time‑versus‑time curves, providing robust support for storing and replaying experimental data.
5. The equipment features comprehensive protection functions, including over-temperature and overheating‑induced short‑circuit protection, ozone concentration over‑limit protection, system overload protection, humidification‑water‑shortage protection, wiring fuse protection, fully sheathed terminals, operational status indication, and automatic shutdown upon fault alarm.
Ozone aging test chamber complies with standards.
