Product Introduction
The circle‑drawing method for evaluating the adhesion between a coating film and its substrate is the most traditional approach in China. This method employs a specially designed instrument to draw numerous circles of uniform diameter in succession on the coating film under test; these circles overlap at specified intervals. The resulting pattern is then divided into seven zones according to the area of overlap among the circles. During evaluation, the integrity of the coating in each zone is assessed, and the corresponding grade is assigned when more than 70% of the coating area in a given zone remains intact.
The LBTD 501 is the latest fully automatic circular‑scanning tester available in China. Compared with other conventional domestic models, it features the following characteristics:

◆ A dedicated indicator light automatically determines whether the stylus has penetrated the coating to the substrate, offering accurate and convenient operation.

◆ A sliding platform enables multiple tests to be conducted at different locations on the same test specimen.

◆ A double-nut mechanism is used to adjust the lead screw clearance, ensuring smoother platform operation and minimizing errors caused by thread backlash, thereby improving measurement accuracy.
◆ The work platform employs dual‑guide linear positioning, offering smoother operation than a single‑rail guide system.
◆ After completing a single test, you can return to the starting point with a single click.
◆ The dedicated tool makes the installation and removal of the scribing needle more convenient and faster.
◆ Precision machining of threads controls the circle diameter, resulting in more accurate test outcomes.
◆ The work platform’s start and end points are precisely positioned, ensuring that each test consistently achieves the specified stroke.
◆ Use a multi‑stage weight combination to achieve the most suitable weight load.
◆ The weight pan features an independent rotary design, minimizing the impact of its inertia on the test load during operation.
