The color of an object can vary under different lighting conditions. Using a light box to simulate various light sources enables objective color evaluation anytime, anywhere.

As a color‑evaluation tool, standard light‑source light boxes offer users the following advantages:

◆ A variety of light source options: daylight D65, incandescent lamp A, fluorescent TL84, ultraviolet UV, and more.

◆ Observe under a UV light source to detect and evaluate optical brighteners or fluorescent pigments.

◆ No warm-up required, no flickering, ensuring fast and reliable color evaluation.

◆ Low energy consumption and minimal heat generation, resulting in high luminous efficacy.

◆ Compact and easy to test—suitable for both laboratory and in-line production use.

Technical Specifications:

Illuminance range of the light source: 750 to 3,200 luxes

Equipped with the capability to test metamerism, it employs microcomputer control among multiple light sources, enabling instantaneous and rapid switching to accurately compare color differences of products under different lighting conditions.

Standard‑issue time meter: Accurately records the operating hours of each lamp group, particularly for D65 standard lamps, which should be replaced after 2,000 hours of use to prevent measurement errors caused by lamp aging.
