LBT-1124 Plug (Pin) Insulating Sleeve Abrasion Resistance Tester

Test the wear resistance of the insulating sleeve on the plug pin. Structure: The apparatus consists of a horizontally mounted crossbeam and a linearly moving clamp holder. Function: At the end of the crossbeam is a U‑shaped head formed by a 1 mm‑diameter steel wire; the two ends of the U are vertically fixed to the crossbeam, with a straight working section of 6 mm along the base of the U. The 6‑mm straight base of the U‑shaped wire is pressed against the insulating sleeve of the plug pin, while an electric motor drives the clamp holder—carrying the plug—to perform reciprocating linear motion, thereby subjecting the wire to frictional contact with the insulating sample.

Purpose:

Testing the wear resistance of the insulating sleeves on the pins of the connector.

Specimen range:

Plug pin insulating sleeve

Structure:

It consists of a horizontally mounted beam and a linearly moving clamp carriage.

Function:

The end of the beam is fitted with a U-shaped head formed from a short steel wire 1 mm in diameter, with the two ends of the U securely fixed to the beam. The straight working portion of the U‑shaped wire measures 6 mm along its base.

The straight 6-mm base of the U‑shaped steel wire is pressed against the insulating sleeve of the pin. A motor drives the fixture holder, which carries the pin, in a reciprocating motion, thereby subjecting the steel wire and the pin‑insulated specimen to frictional wear testing.
