Purpose:

It is suitable for testing the mechanical strength of plug pins and should be used in conjunction with a high-temperature chamber.

Structure and Function:

According to the relevant standards, verify the secure attachment of plugs and sockets. Customizable socket gauges compliant with other national standards are available.

Test method:

When conducting the pin‑fastness test, follow these steps:

1. Place the plug on the steel plate so that the center of the pin aligns with the center of the hole.

2. Along the longitudinal axis of the pin, apply a tensile force to each pin in sequence, equal to the maximum pull-out force specified in Table 16, for a duration of 1 minute.

3. Place the plug in a heating chamber maintained at (70 ± 2)°C; after 1 hour, apply a tensile force along the longitudinal axis of the pin while it remains inside the chamber.

4. After the test is completed, allow the plug to cool to ambient temperature.

5. After cooling, inspect the displacement of the pin within the plug body; the displacement of any pin shall not exceed 1 mm.

For flat pins, the hole dimensions shall be increased by 2 ± 0.22 mm in all directions relative to the pin’s cross-sectional dimensions.

For round pins, the hole diameter shall be 6 ± 0.5 mm larger than the pin’s cross-sectional diameter.

Other standard hole gauges are customizable.

1. One set of GB-type pin fixtures; other standard pin fixtures can be custom-made upon request.

2. Must be used in conjunction with a high-temperature chamber, at a temperature of 70±2℃.
