Description

Product Introduction:

The rotorless vulcameter is the most widely used instrument in the rubber processing industry for quality control, rapid testing, and fundamental rubber research. It provides precise data to optimize rubber formulation, accurately measuring parameters such as scorch time, optimum cure time, cure rate index, and maximum and minimum torque. It is extensively applied across various sectors of the rubber products industry.

Reference standard:

Rotorless Vulcanization Tester T10, T30, T50, T60, and T90 data that comply with the requirements of GB/T 16584 “Rubber—Determination of Vulcanization Characteristics Using a Non-Rotating Rheometer,” ISO 6502, and the Italian standard.

Product Features:

1. The rotorless vulcameter is equipped with the latest domestic software, featuring rapid heating (within 3 minutes) and high temperature‑control accuracy.

2. The rotorless vulcameter employs an alpha-type closed‑cavity mold structure.

3. The rotorless rheometer employs alpha‑type top‑mounted force sensor technology (sensor accuracy up to 0.001 N·m).

4. The rotorless rheometer employs an alpha‑type sealed mold cavity design, using imported sealing rings to hermetically seal the rotating and stationary cavities; moreover, the structure of this sealed mold cavity differs fundamentally from that of a conventional open‑type mold cavity.

5. The mold cavity is made from high-quality materials, ensuring rapid heat transfer and excellent resistance to deformation.

Working principle:

The rubber specimen is placed in an almost completely sealed mold cavity and maintained at the test temperature. The mold cavity consists of upper and lower halves, with the lower half undergoing a small linear reciprocating motion (oscillatory swing). This oscillation induces shear strain in the specimen, and the reaction torque (force) exerted by the specimen on the mold cavity is measured. The magnitude of this torque (force) depends on the shear modulus of the rubber compound. As the vulcanization test progresses, the shear modulus of the specimen increases; the computer continuously displays and records the torque (force). When the torque (force) reaches a steady value or a maximum, or even returns to its initial state, a torque–time curve—known as the vulcanization curve—is obtained. The shape of this curve is influenced by the test temperature and the characteristics of the rubber compound.
