Description
Product Introduction
In accordance with the requirements of the “Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering JTG 3410‑2025,” the “AASHTO T 0627‑2011 Method for Determining Asphalt Bending Creep Stiffness Using the Bending Beam Rheometer (BBR),” and the “Highway Asphalt Pavement Design Specifications JTGD 50‑2017,” this method—developed using microcomputer‑based automatic control, high‑precision sensor technology, refrigeration technology, and electro‑servo drive technology—primarily employs direct tensile testing to determine the failure strain and failure stress of asphalt binders. The method is applicable to both unaged materials and those aged by T240 (RTFOT) and R28 (PAV). The temperature range of the testing apparatus is +6 to +36°C, and this test procedure is limited to asphalt binders containing particles smaller than 250 μm.
Features and Benefits
1. Windows-based software that operates fully automatically, requiring virtually no operator intervention. It is specifically designed to perform low-temperature thermal‑property tests on asphalt binders, capable of controlling and recording all necessary parameters. During the test, data are displayed simultaneously on the computer screen and saved to the hard drive. The data can be easily exported to other applications, such as Microsoft Excel.
2. Both data acquisition and closed-loop control utilize a 24-bit digital processor, ensuring high precision and sensitivity.
3. Equipped with imported control valves and fully digital control.
4. A laser displacement sensor is used to independently monitor displacement and deformation.
5. The test tank employs an external circulation cooling and temperature‑control system, which helps minimize vibration transmitted from the compressor to the equipment and thereby reduces sensor measurement errors.
System Composition
This instrument consists of a main unit, a low-temperature refrigeration circulator, a computer, and measurement‑control software.
