Depending on the test temperature requirements, a constant‑temperature water bath is provided, with automatic temperature control. Additionally, sample tubes equipped with orifices of varying diameters and ball plugs are supplied to accommodate different types and consistencies of asphalt materials. Once the desired temperature is reached, lift the ball plug, activate the timing switch, and the instrument automatically records the time required for 50 mL of the sample to flow out; this value represents the sample’s viscosity at that temperature. Applicable standards: JTG 3410/T0621, ASTM D5801.

Product Introduction

Basic structure: Depending on the required test temperature, the apparatus is equipped with a constant‑temperature water bath that automatically maintains the set temperature. Additionally, sample tubes with orifice diameters tailored to the type and consistency of the asphalt material, along with ball plugs, are provided. Once the temperature has reached the desired level, the ball plug is lifted, the timing switch is activated, and the time taken for 50 mL of the sample to flow out is automatically recorded; this value represents the sample’s viscosity at that temperature. Applicable standards: JTG 3410/T0621, ASTM D5801.
