Description


Product Introduction

The asphalt rotary film oven (referred to as the “82 Oven”) is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in T 0638‑2025, “Rotary Film Oven Aging Test for Asphalt,” of the People’s Republic of China industry standard JTG 3410‑2025, “Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering.” It is suitable for determining the mass loss of road petroleum asphalt after rotary film oven aging. Additionally, as required, it can be used to measure changes in properties such as penetration, viscosity, ductility, and brittle point of the asphalt residue following rotary film oven treatment, thereby evaluating the aging performance of the asphalt.
Structure

1. The outer casing is constructed from thin steel sheet; the upper section comprises an all-stainless-steel chamber equipped with double doors, and a glass window is installed in the center. An interior illumination lamp is provided, enabling convenient external observation of the thermometer readings during measurements.

2. The heating unit is mounted at the bottom of the chamber and utilizes natural air convection to heat the air. Uniform heating of the chamber is achieved through air ducts located at the top, bottom, and rear.

3. The center of the workstation is equipped with a turntable capable of holding four asphalt sample dishes, which is driven by an electric motor and rotates at a speed of 5.5 revolutions per minute.

4. Temperature control is implemented using an intelligent controller, ensuring that the temperature remains within the test specification of 163°C ± 0.5°C.
