Product Introduction:

The automatic potentiometric titrator, used for determining the chloride ion content in cement and concrete, is an analytical instrument designed on the principle of potentiometric titration and employed for volumetric analysis. The working principle of potentiometric titration is as follows: an appropriate indicator electrode and a reference electrode are combined with the solution being analyzed to form a galvanic cell. As the titrant is added, chemical reactions occur, causing the concentration of the analyte ions to change continuously, which in turn leads to corresponding changes in the potential of the indicator electrode. Near the titration endpoint, a sudden change in the analyte ion concentration results in a sharp jump in the electrode potential; thus, the titration endpoint can be determined by detecting this potential jump.
