The thermal conductivity of a material is an important parameter in the study of its thermophysical properties. This instrument employs the guarded‑plate method, meeting the high‑precision testing requirements of materials‑testing research laboratories for determining thermal conductivity. Reference standards include: GB/T 3399‑82 “Test Method for Thermal Conductivity of Plastics—Guarded‑Plate Method”; GB/T 3139‑2005 “Test Method for Thermal Conductivity of Fiber‑Reinforced Plastics (Glass‑Reinforced Plastics)”; and GB/T 10294‑2008 “Determination of Steady‑State Thermal Resistance and Related Properties of Thermal Insulation Materials—Guarded‑Plate Method,” among others. . It is primarily used to test plastics, glass, fibers, foam insulation materials, concrete, powdered materials, and more. It is widely used in universities and colleges, research institutions, quality inspection agencies, and manufacturing enterprises.

This instrument has been improved and optimized based on the original LBT‑II, featuring a higher degree of automation and more stable performance.
