Description
Product Introduction
The instrument is characterized by its simple design, high accuracy, and rapid testing speed—approximately ten minutes per test. It can simultaneously determine a material’s thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat in a single measurement, and it is capable of assessing thermophysical properties under various moisture conditions. Reference standards include: JGJ/T 12‑2019 (replacing JGJ 51‑2002, “Technical Specification for Lightweight Aggregate Concrete”), JG 158‑2004 “External Thermal Insulation System with Rubber Powder and Expanded Polystyrene Granules,” and Appendix B of JG/T 283‑2010 “Lightweight Mortar with Expanded Vitrified Microspheres,” which specifies methods for determining the heat storage coefficient; JG/T 511‑2017, Annex A, “Test Method for Heat Storage Coefficient of Foamed Ceramic Insulation Boards”; GB/T 26000‑2010, “Method for Determining the Heat Storage Coefficient in Expanded Vitrified Microsphere Insulating and Thermal‑Insulating Mortar”; and GB/T 20473‑2021, “Building Insulation Mortar,” Annex D, which sets forth requirements for testing the heat storage coefficient.
Scope of application:
This instrument is suitable for determining the thermal conductivity, thermal storage coefficient, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat capacity of homogeneous plate‑like, gel‑like, powdered, or granular materials under dry conditions or at various moisture contents. The thermal conductivity of the test material ranges from 0.035 to 1.7 W/m·K. Based on the principle of unsteady‑state heat conduction, a brief heating pulse is applied to the sample, inducing a temperature change. By analyzing the characteristics of this temperature response and solving the corresponding heat conduction differential equation, the thermal storage coefficient, thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat of the material can be calculated.
