Description
Product Introduction
The pressure bleeding apparatus is an instrument used to measure the pressure‑induced bleeding of pumped concrete. It offers advantages such as accurate readings, simple operation, compact size, and easy demolding. All performance parameters of this instrument have been verified by relevant research institutions and found to comply with the national standard JC 473‑2001. The main components of the pressure bleeding apparatus include a pressure gauge, hydraulic cylinder, manual oil pump, cylinder body, working piston, and sieve screen.
Technical Specifications:
(Sieve aperture: 0.315 mm)
- Pressure gauge (0–6 MPa) 2—Three-way connector 3—(for connecting the manual oil pump) oil delivery pipe fitting
- Hydraulic cylinder, inner diameter 40 mm; 5—top cover; 6—pivot bolt; 7—bolt pin; 8—cylinder body, inner diameter 125 mm, height 200 mm; 9—pivot bolt; 10—base; 11—screen plate; 12—O-ring seal; 13—screen plate; 14—piston seal; 15—piston, diameter 125 mm; 16—sieve with apertures of 0.315 mm; 17—drain valve.
Test Procedure
Place the concrete mix into the test cylinder, and use a tamping rod to evenly tamp 25 times, moving from the periphery toward the center. Then, assemble the apparatus according to the prescribed procedure. Apply pressure to the concrete as quickly as possible up to 3.0 MPa, immediately open the bleed‑water outlet valve, start timing simultaneously, and maintain constant pressure. Collect the bleeding water in a graduated cylinder, and after maintaining pressure for 10 seconds, record the volume of bleeding water, V. 10, After pressurizing for 140 seconds, measure the water permeation volume V. 140。
Computation and Evaluation:
The pressure bleeding rate is calculated according to Equation (1):
B P = ×100 ………………(1)
B P— Pressure bleeding rate, %
V 10— Water output at 10 seconds of pressurization, mL
V 140— Water yield at a pressure of 140 s, mL
The results are expressed as the average of three trials, rounded to 0.1%.
After the test is completed, unscrew check valves 1 and 2 in sequence by turning them counterclockwise to relieve pressure. Remove the lower base, place the upper section on the demolding frame, tighten the check valves clockwise, and apply pressure. Once the concrete specimen and piston have automatically detached, turn check valve 1 counterclockwise to release pressure, then open the upper section to retract the jack piston, thereby completing one test cycle.
Maintenance Precautions
1. After each experiment, rinse the instrument with water and wipe it dry. If the instrument will not be used for an extended period, apply a thin layer of oil to its interior surfaces to prevent rusting.
2. If the oil pump is low on oil and cannot build pressure, remove the rear cover of the pump, unscrew the hex socket bolt, add oil, and then reseal it.
