Description
Product Introduction:
The PCHBWT-3000Z touchscreen digital Brinell hardness tester lets you perform measurements effortlessly with just a single touch‑screen tablet. All required test parameters can be directly selected, adjusted, and analyzed on the computer. The PC communicates with the hardness tester via a standard protocol, enabling control of its mechanical components and supporting features such as automatic multi‑position turret indexing, automatic objective and indenter recognition, automatic loading, automatic hold‑time, automatic unloading, and adjustable illumination intensity. By connecting to the built‑in CCD imaging system, the device displays clear, real‑time dynamic images of the indentation on the PC, allows for automatic measurement of hardness values based on the indenter footprint, and automatically saves test data while generating comprehensive reports. Operation is simple and rapid, minimizing human‑induced measurement errors. Powered by a tablet platform, the system can be extended with additional applications over the internet and easily integrated with external devices such as monitors and printers.
The hardness tester’s software system employs computer‑based intelligent programming and photoelectric sensing technology. Users can independently select test parameters, and the 5.6‑inch multi‑function touch screen displays the testing method, upper and lower limit ranges, indenter length, hardness values, converted values, test force, holding time, and number of measurements. It also allows entry of year, month, and date, as well as display of test results and data processing, with the capability to connect to a computer via a data interface. The optical system utilizes high‑magnification LED illumination for precise imaging, offering high image clarity and adjustable brightness to reduce operator fatigue during extended use. The hardware incorporates advanced electronic sensor‑based loading technology; a closed‑loop control system, managed by the CPU, enables sensors to acquire signals while a stepper motor automatically applies and releases the test force, with automatic compensation to ensure more accurate force readings and greater stability of displayed values. An emergency stop device is also included, meeting EU CE safety standards. The instrument features user‑friendly operation, enhanced reliability, and superior safety.
Main uses and scope of application:
1. Suitable for hardness testing of metallic materials with coarse grains, it can reflect the material’s overall performance.
2. Cast iron, steel, and nonferrous metals, especially softer metals such as pure aluminum, lead, and tin.
3. It can be used for hardness testing of certain non-metallic materials, such as rigid plastics and bakelite.
Main functions and features of the hardness tester:
1. This instrument features high accuracy, excellent repeatability and stability, simple operation, practical convenience, and outstanding cost-effectiveness.
2. Equipped with a 11-level test force, it can accommodate a wider testing range;
3. Automatic turret; the indenter and objective lens rotate automatically.
4. The system features a built-in calibration function, allowing manual adjustment of the input calibration instrument and also enabling calibration of the eyepiece magnification.
5. Adjustable brightness range of the optical system: 0–100
6. Can store up to 100 sets of test data.
7. The operating system supports switching between Chinese and English.
8. The main interface can display five conversion scales simultaneously.
9. When connected to a computer, data can be measured directly and transmitted to the PC for editing and saving.
10. Equipped with a high-performance stepper motor for automatic application and removal of test force, resulting in reduced noise during testing.
11. Utilizing photoelectric sensing technology and a microcomputer control system, automatic compensation is achieved, ensuring precise and stable test results.
12. Automatically inputs the indentation diameter and directly displays the hardness value; it supports dual display of any hardness scale, eliminating the need for tedious table lookups.
13. High-magnification LED optical measurement for personal use, offering high image clarity, adjustable brightness, and reduced eye strain during prolonged operation.
14. The housing is cast in a single piece, ensuring structural stability and resistance to deformation, enabling operation under relatively harsh environmental conditions.
15. The surface is finished with automotive baking‑paint technology, offering excellent resistance to scratches and dents; even after years of use, it remains as bright and pristine as new.
Functions and features of the automatic measurement system:
1. Hardness Tester Control: The system provides serial-port communication to control the hardness tester’s operations, including turret rotation, loading, setting the dwell time, adjusting illumination brightness, and controlling the test force, among others.
2. Test force range: 62.5, 100, 125, 187.5, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 3000 kgf
3. Indentation measurement accuracy: ±0.5%
4. Automatically measures indentation and calculates the Brinell hardness value in accordance with ASTM E10;
5. The German industrial standard DIN 1605 automatically measures the indentation of test specimens and standard blocks, and calculates the impact‑type Brinell hardness value HB2.
6. Automatic Measurement: Automatically or manually capture the indentation, measure its diameter, and calculate the corresponding Brinell hardness value.
7. Hardness Value Conversion and Validity Verification: The system can convert the measured Brinell hardness value HB into other hardness values, such as HV, HR, and others.
8. Data Statistics: The system automatically calculates and stores statistical values such as the average and variance of the measured hardness.
9. Over‑range alarm: Automatically flags abnormal values and triggers an alarm when the hardness exceeds the specified threshold.
10. Test Reports: Automatically generate reports in WORD or EXCEL format, with customizable report templates.
11. Data Storage: Measurement data, including indentation images and other relevant information, can be stored as documents.
12. Other Functions: Includes all functions of the image processing and measurement system, such as image capture, calibration, image processing, geometric dimension measurement, document annotation, album management, and fixed‑magnification printing, among others.
13. Ease of use: With a single click on the interface button, the indentation measurement is performed automatically. For manual measurements or result adjustments, simply drag and resize the measurement box.
