Description

Product Introduction:

The LBS‑62.5 digital display micro‑load Brinell hardness tester is a high‑tech, opto‑mechatronic product. Featuring a modern design, it offers excellent reliability, ease of operation, and intuitive usability, representing a new generation of Brinell testing instruments that integrate mechanical and photoelectric technologies. The device employs computer‑based software programming and an optical measurement system. Users can select different indenter types and test forces via soft keys, adjust the intensity of the illumination source, and set the dwell time. The LCD screen displays the indenter diameter, applied test force, and measurement range, while hardness values are read directly on the display, eliminating the need for tedious table lookups. Its user‑friendly operation is further enhanced by the use of rotary encoders, which improve measurement accuracy. Because Brinell hardness testing involves relatively high loads, large indenter diameters, and wide indentation diameters, it is particularly well suited for determining the hardness of metals with coarse grain structures—such as cast iron, nonferrous metals and their alloys, various annealed or tempered materials, and most steels supplied in finished condition. This instrument utilizes a lower portion of the Brinell hardness scale, making it especially appropriate for softer metals like pure aluminum, copper, lead, tin, zinc, and their alloys, delivering highly accurate hardness readings. Moreover, Brinell hardness exhibits superior measurement precision, ensuring excellent reproducibility and representativeness.

Main uses and scope of application:
1. Suitable for hardness testing of metallic materials with coarse grains, it can reflect the material’s overall performance.
2. Cast iron, steel, and nonferrous metals, especially softer metals such as pure aluminum, lead, and tin.

Key Functions and Features:
1. 4-inch large-screen LCD display, menu-based interface,
2. Automated testing process with simple operation.
3. High-definition optical system; light source brightness is adjustable in 20 levels.
4. Features hardness value conversion and upper/lower tolerance evaluation.
5. Diagonal lengths D1 and D2 are fed into the encoder, reducing human reading errors.
6. Test results and data processing can be output via the printer.
7. The housing is cast in a single piece, ensuring structural stability and resistance to deformation, enabling operation in relatively harsh environments.
8. The surface is finished with automotive baking‑paint technology, offering excellent resistance to scratches and maintaining a like‑new shine even after years of use.
