It can rapidly identify and classify the grades and approximate alloy compositions of a wide range of metals, including high- and low-alloy steels, stainless steels, tool steels, chromium/molybdenum steels, nickel alloys, cobalt alloys, nickel/cobalt heat-resistant alloys, electrical steels, and more. It can also analyze certain specialized alloys such as Au, Ag, Pt, Sn, Pb, W, and Bi.

It can simultaneously display the concentrations of multiple metallic elements, including Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Sr, Zr, Mo, Rh, Pt, Pd, Ag, Cd, Sn, Sb, Ba, Ta, W, Au, Hg, Ti, Pb, U, and others.

Product Advantages

The instrument is easy to operate and does not require specialized technical personnel. Simply align the instrument’s measurement window with the homogeneous sample to be analyzed, press the measurement button, and within 2 to 15 seconds, you can obtain the concentrations of each element.

The measurement results can be directly downloaded to a USB storage device or a personal computer, or printed out using a Bluetooth printer; the results are saved in TXT format to ensure optimal data integrity. The instrument’s internal data storage capacity exceeds 100,000 records, including spectra and sample images (e.g., captured by an integrated camera).

The system allows users to define result‑classification grades based on applicable measurement standards (such as GB, ASTM, JIS, DIN, etc.), and results for out‑of‑spec samples can be highlighted with warning colors like red or blue. HX‑6 features a comprehensive grade library that includes a pre‑configured Chinese National Standard (GB) database, covering more than 1,000 alloy grades. Users can also modify the existing grade library by adding new grades—such as manufacturer‑specific or region‑specific designations—or create custom libraries tailored to specific applications, for example, dedicated databases for specialized welding materials. No helium or vacuum pump is required; the SDD detector method can analyze a broad range of elements and concentrations.

  • Equipped with a 50 kV X-ray tube featuring both a rhodium anode target and a silver anode target, it enables efficient excitation and measurement of metallic elements, covering a broad elemental range and delivering the highest detection performance among comparable products.
