Product Introduction:

The LBT-302DIC upright metallurgical microscope is designed for microscopic observation of opaque specimens. Featuring a high‑quality infinity‑corrected optical system and a modular functional design, it allows for easy system upgrades to support polarized light and darkfield imaging, among other capabilities. Its compact, stable, and highly rigid body fully addresses the vibration‑isolation requirements of microscopic operations. An ergonomically optimized design ensures convenient, comfortable handling and ample working space. Ideal for examining conductive particles, metallographic structures, and surface morphology, this instrument is a perfect choice for research in metallurgy, mineralogy, and precision engineering.

Observation System:

Hinged Observation Tube: Trinocular, with individual diopter adjustment; the tube is tilted at 30° and features a built-in analyzer, allowing seamless switching between standard and polarized observation, and can be connected to a camera system. Eyepiece: WF10X wide-field plan eyepiece, with a field of view of Φ18 mm, providing a broad, flat viewing area.

Stage:

Equipped with a stage offering a large travel range, dimensions: 250 mm × 230 mm; travel range: 154 mm × 154 mm.

An optional ultra-large stage with a travel range of 280 mm × 270 mm is also available, offering a travel range of 204 mm × 204 mm.

Episcopic illumination system:

It employs a 6 V, 30 W halogen lamp with adjustable brightness, providing clear and vivid microscopic images not only for conventional brightfield observation but also for polarized-light microscopy. Equipped with a built-in polarizer, field diaphragm, and aperture diaphragm, it enables polarized-light observation, allows precise control of the field of view, and facilitates adjustment of field contrast; the center of the field diaphragm is also adjustable. A plug-in filter wheel includes yellow, green, and blue filters as well as frosted glass, offering illumination of varying color temperatures to suit the examination of diverse specimens.

Main body:

The unique T‑shaped mirror‑body frame design enhances instrument stability and maximizes usable workspace. The ultra‑low‑position, front‑mounted coarse‑fine coaxial focusing mechanism helps reduce operator fatigue during extended observation. The coarse adjustment knob features adjustable tension, ensuring a comfortable grip for users of all hand sizes. By controlling the stage’s vertical movement, you can obtain a clear image of the specimen.
