The HJ1 is suitable for microscopic observation of both opaque and transparent specimens. Featuring an infinity‑corrected optical system and a modular design philosophy, it delivers superior optical performance and supports product‑system upgrades. It incorporates a simultaneous transmitted‑and‑reflected illumination system, infinity‑corrected long‑working‑distance achromatic objectives, wide‑field eyepieces, and a polarizing microscope attachment. With its three‑dimensional, sharply detailed images, elegant aesthetics, and user‑friendly operation, the HJ1 is an ideal instrument for research in biology, metallurgy, mineralogy, precision engineering, electronics, and related fields.

A compact, stable, and highly rigid body fully meets the vibration‑isolation requirements of micromanipulation.
An ergonomically optimized design ensures more convenient and comfortable operation, while providing greater interior space.
When used as a metallographic microscope, it features a reflected‑light illumination system with a vertical illumination setup, equipped with field and aperture diaphragms, and a built-in Köhler illumination system powered by a 6 V/20 W halogen lamp. When employed as a biological microscope, it incorporates a transmitted‑light illumination system housed in the base, also with a built-in 6 V/20 W halogen lamp whose brightness is adjustable. It includes one blue, one green, one yellow, and one frosted filter. If the base‑mounted illumination source is not required, the instrument can be used solely as an upright metallographic microscope.

Infinity‑corrected long‑working‑distance objectives: one each of 4× (WD 25.4 mm), 10× (WD 11.0 mm), 20× (WD 6.0 mm), and 40× (3.7 mm).
Wide-field, wide-angle eyepieces: one pair of WF10X, or WF12.5X, or WF16X, or WF20X;
Standard configuration: articulated binocular head with an adjustable interpupillary distance of 55–75 mm and a 30° tilt.
150×140 mm double-layer mechanical stage, with a travel range of 75×50 mm in the X–Y directions;
A coaxial focusing mechanism employing a rack-and-pinion system, with a precision of 0.002 mm; equipped with an adjustable focus‑weight compensation device and a handwheel for limiting the platform’s position.
