The MP-2 metallographic specimen grinder‑polisher features a dual‑disc design: the left disc serves as the grinding wheel, while the right disc functions as the polishing pad, simultaneously fulfilling both grinding and polishing requirements and allowing two operators to work concurrently. Its housing is molded as a single piece, offering a modern appearance, and it boasts smooth rotation, low noise, user‑friendly operation, and high productivity. Additionally, it incorporates an integrated cooling system that cools the specimen during grinding and polishing, preventing overheating that could compromise the metallographic structure. This equipment is ideally suited for metallographic laboratories in industrial facilities, colleges, and research institutions.
