Fine grinding aims to eliminate these scratches, yielding a smooth, even ground surface that is well‑suited for subsequent polishing. The M‑2 metallographic specimen pre‑grinding machine is designed for fine grinding and features a dual‑disc configuration, allowing two operators to work simultaneously. Its housing is manufactured using integral thermoforming technology, giving it a modern appearance.
