Product Introduction:

In the preparation of metallographic specimens, grinding and polishing are indispensable steps; after these processes, the specimen achieves a mirror‑like, highly polished surface. The LBT‑2PB semi‑automatic metallographic grinder‑polisher (with mechanical pressure applied to four specimens) features a touch screen and an electrically driven grinding/polishing head, enabling simultaneous grinding and polishing of up to four samples at once. It offers smooth rotation, hands‑free operation, low noise, user‑friendly controls, and high productivity. The polishing disc speed is continuously adjustable between 50 and 1,000 r/min, and by switching between metallographic abrasive papers and polishing cloths, both grinding and polishing can be performed, ensuring broad versatility. The base housing is integrally molded, presenting a modern aesthetic, and includes a built-in cooling system that cools the specimen during grinding and polishing, thereby preventing overheating and potential damage to the microstructure. This equipment is ideally suited for metallographic laboratories in industrial settings, colleges, and research institutions, making it the perfect choice for specimen preparation.

6. Sample pressurization requires no air supply; it employs elastic loading with adjustable pressure.
7. Countdown function: set the time arbitrarily, and the machine will stop when the time is up.
8. The polishing disc can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise to meet different requirements.

9. The polishing disc and the grinding head can operate independently or in tandem, enabling one‑button switching between manual and automatic modes.
10. One-touch automatic start function: after placing the sample on the clamping plate, simply press Start, and the grinding head and grinding disc will begin operating automatically.

11. Automatic centering prevents multi-faceted grinding and polishing.
12. Dual‑plate, dual‑control operation offers greater flexibility, significantly enhancing sample preparation efficiency.
