The LBT-2AB automatic metallographic sample grinding and polishing machine is a single‑disc, fully automated unit that integrates pre‑grinding, grinding, and polishing. It employs microcontroller technology with touch‑screen control; the grinding/polishing disc is driven by a DC brushless motor via a V‑belt, while the grinding head is powered by a stepper motor with synchronous belt drive. This design delivers smooth rotation, low noise, and long service life. Users can independently adjust the rotational speeds of both the grinding head and the disc, set the applied pressure, and program the specimen‑preparation time to meet diverse requirements. The machine also features an integrated illumination system for convenient sample handling and a built-in cooling unit that cools the specimen during grinding, preventing overheating and preserving the metallographic structure.
