Product Introduction:
The soil free swell ratio tester is suitable for determining the free swell ratio of clays. The free swell ratio is defined as the ratio, expressed as a percentage, of the difference between the volumes of loosely packed, oven‑dried soil particles when they are freely piled in water and in air, to the volume of the particles when freely piled in air. It is used to assess the swelling behavior of unstructured, loose soil particles in water. The instrument complies with the standard requirements of JTG E40 “Highway Geotechnical Test Procedures” and GB/T 50123 “Standard for Geotechnical Test Methods.”
