Product Introduction:

The air‑bag volumetric densimeter is a testing instrument used to determine the density of soil, suitable for field measurements of soils with maximum particle sizes less than 20 mm. It is designed based on Boyle’s law of physics. During testing, a specified pressure is applied to drive a piston, transferring the medium (air) from the cylinder into an air bag placed within the test pit, thereby causing the air bag to expand and conform tightly to the inner wall of the pit. The data displayed by the measuring device are recorded, and the volume of the test pit is calculated. This instrument complies with the standard requirements of TB 10102, “Code for Geotechnical Testing in Railway Engineering.”
