Product Introduction

The Casagrande liquid limit test involves dividing the soil paste in a metal dish into two halves with a knife and then dropping the dish from a height of 10 mm at a rate of twice per second. When the number of blows reaches 25, the combined width of the two halves of the soil paste at the bottom of the dish is exactly 13 mm; the moisture content at this point is defined as the liquid limit.
