Product Introduction:

The TG-20 carbon black distribution microtome is an instrument designed for routine sectioning of tubular samples and other specimens. Equipped with advanced precision machining and PLC control, it features a user-friendly touch-screen interface, delivering superior accuracy, stability, and reliability in sample preparation. It can process tubular materials, foams, paraffin wax, and other specimen types, and is particularly well suited for preparing sections of carbon black dispersion samples.

Product Features:

1. The streamlined exterior is neat and elegant, with a space on the top of the housing for storing disposable blade consumables.

2. Equipped with crossed-roller guideways and a micro-feed mechanism featuring long-lasting lubrication—no oiling required—and a cover strip and chip‑removal groove design that make instrument cleaning even more convenient.

3. The sample‑holding system can be adjusted in any direction within three-dimensional space, offering ease of use and high precision.

4. Quick and convenient interchangeable specimen holders (wax block holder; optional precision‑aligned horizontal embedding cassette holder) / 5. The blade holder can be moved left and right, ensuring optimal use of the blade edge (for sectioning in three distinct zones)

6. The blade guard securely covers the blade edge, and the push‑rod makes blade replacement quick and convenient.

7. The entire machine design incorporates ergonomic principles, providing operators with a comfortable experience that minimizes fatigue.

Instructions for Use

1. Insert the output end of the power adapter into the power port, then plug the input end into a 220V AC outlet.

2. When the chuck is at its highest position, tighten the handwheel lock.

3. Turn on the power switch;

4. Retract the specimen chuck to the appropriate position and secure the specimen in the chuck.

5. Attach the blade and secure it, then position the guard over the blade to prevent cuts.

6. Click the Thickness Setting button to enter the thickness‑setting interface and specify the desired slice thickness for the specimen. Once the settings are complete, click the Back button to return to the main interface.

7. Click the forward and backward keys to adjust the button, positioning the specimen relative to the cutter head.

8. Click the “Reset Count” button on the main interface to start the experiment.

9. Simply turn the large handwheel to begin slicing.

10. Once slicing is complete, turn off the power and unplug the device. Clean any residue from inside the blade holder, on the blades, and on the machine, then cover it with the dust cover.

Method for replacing the blade:

Open the blade lock, use your left hand to firmly pull the guard‑bar handle and press the blade tightly, then push the blade from left to right. Next, use your right hand to remove the blade you just pushed out, replace it with a new one, and secure the blade lock.
