Description

Product Introduction:

It is used to measure the water vapor transmission properties of textiles and textile composites, particularly sportswear fabrics.

Reference standard:

BS 7209, BS 3424

Working principle:

In a constant-temperature and constant-humidity environment, the test specimen is placed over a dish containing water. After a specified period, water vapor permeates through the fixed area of the specimen; the weight of the permeated water vapor is then measured to calculate the water vapor transmission rate and the water vapor transmission index.
