Used to assess the snagging resistance and surface smoothness of knitted fabrics.

Working principle:

In two independent test drums, each contains eight needle bars. A pack of bead pillows is placed into a knitted test specimen, and the specimen containing the bead pillows is then loaded into the test drum and rotated for a specified number of revolutions, causing the specimen to tumble as the drum turns. After the test is completed, the specimen is evaluated to determine the level of snagging.
