Product Introduction:
It is used to determine the bursting strength and burst elongation of various materials, such as textiles, nonwovens, and leather, when subjected simultaneously to tensile forces in both the warp and weft directions as well as in all other directions (using the elastic diaphragm method). The principle involves clamping the specimen onto an extensible diaphragm and applying liquid pressure beneath the diaphragm to cause both the diaphragm and the specimen to expand. The liquid volume is increased at a constant rate until the specimen ruptures, at which point the bursting strength and burst elongation are measured.
