The AATCC Type 128 wrinkle recovery tester evaluates a specimen’s ability to recover after being subjected to a specified load and folded for a set duration. It is suitable for fabrics made from any pure or blended fibers. For materials that cannot maintain their shape under specific creasing conditions—such as those that are relatively soft, thin, and easily bent—this instrument can be used to assess their wrinkle resistance.
