Product Introduction:

Manufactured in accordance with the Fire Helmet Standard XF44-2015, this equipment is primarily used to test the flame‑retardant performance of fire helmet chinstraps and neck guards. It is widely employed by manufacturers, research institutions, and quality‑supervision and testing agencies involved in fire helmet production.

Product Features:

1. The combustion test chamber is constructed from stainless steel, offering superior heat resistance, resistance to smoke‑induced corrosion, mechanical strength, and aesthetic appeal compared with conventional metal materials. The top and both sides of the chamber are equipped with ventilation and exhaust ports, each with an inner diameter of 12.5 mm—16 ports arranged in a 4×4 pattern on the top, and seven ports on each side at the base.

2. The ignition system employs pulse‑type automatic ignition, eliminating the need for a lighter or handheld igniter and ensuring safe, reliable operation.

3. Equipped with a flow‑regulating valve, it allows convenient and flexible adjustment of the flame height by controlling the gas flow rate, and includes a flame‑height scale.

4. Equipped with a U-shaped specimen holder that meets the standard requirements and fitted with a limit rod for convenient and rapid placement of the specimen clamp.

5. The combustion zone is equipped with a sealed tempered-glass observation door, enabling test personnel to monitor the testing process while preventing external airflow from interfering with the test.

Measurement and Control System:

1. The overall control system employs a PLC–touchscreen architecture, with all relevant operations performed via the touchscreen.

2. The touchscreen displays the test status in real time, including pulse ignition status, motor status, solenoid valve status, and more.

3. The PLC uses a Mitsubishi model, featuring built-in high-capacity RAM and faster operating speed.

4. The ignition timing can be set manually via the touch screen and is automatically saved as the default setting from the previous session.

5. Equipped with a self‑diagnostic function: in the event of a device malfunction, the touchscreen automatically triggers an alarm and displays information on the faulty component and the observed symptoms.
