Description
Product Introduction:
This test equipment simulates degradation caused by solar ultraviolet radiation by exposing the materials under test to controlled high‑temperature illumination, thereby conducting weathering tests. It uses UV lamps to replicate the effects of sunlight and employs condensation and water spray to mimic dew and rain. In just a few days or weeks, the UV exposure system can reproduce damage that would typically take months or even years to occur outdoors, including fading, color change, loss of gloss, chalking, cracking, crazing, wrinkling, blistering, embrittlement, reduced strength, and oxidation. The test results can be used to select new materials, improve existing ones, or evaluate changes in material formulations.
Reference standard:
GB/T 16422.2 and GB/T 16422.3, “Plastics, Coatings, and Rubber Materials for Mechanical Industry Products—Methods for Accelerated Artificial Climate Testing,” include the fluorescent UV/cold‑condensation test method.
GB/T 16422.3 and GB/T 16585-96: Relevant analytical methods.
GB/T 16585 “Test Method for Artificial Weathering of Vulcanized Rubber (Fluorescent UV Lamp)”.
Designed and manufactured in accordance with the relevant standard provisions, including GB/T 16422.3-1997 “Methods for Exposure Testing of Plastics under Laboratory Light Sources.”
Complies with international testing standards, including ASTM D4329, ISO 4892‑3, ISO 11507, SAE J2020, and other current UV aging test standards.
Other types of standards are not exhaustively listed; please confirm with our technical department if needed.
