The formaldehyde test specimen equilibrium pre‑treatment constant‑temperature and constant‑humidity chamber provides a dedicated testing space, eliminating cross‑contamination among specimens during formaldehyde release and thereby ensuring more accurate results. Its multi‑chamber configuration enables cyclical testing, significantly enhancing experimental efficiency. The formaldehyde test specimen equilibrium pre‑treatment equipment is specially designed to meet the 15‑day preconditioning requirement for panel samples specified in GB 18580 and GB 17657‑4.60. This system features multiple environmental chambers within a single unit, allowing simultaneous pre‑conditioning of up to four standard test specimens without cross‑contamination, thus avoiding the mutual interference that can arise when different samples are processed concurrently. It effectively improves the sample testing and evaluation efficiency of inspection agencies.

The test specimens shall be conditioned at 23 ± 1 °C and a relative humidity of (50 ± 5) % for (15 ± 2) days, with a minimum spacing of 25 mm between specimens to allow free air circulation over all specimen surfaces. The air exchange rate in the constant‑temperature, constant‑humidity chamber shall be at least once per hour, and the formaldehyde mass concentration in the chamber air shall not exceed 0.10 mg/m³.
