Product Introduction

The single-sided alkali resistance test apparatus for rubber evaluates the effect of a liquid on rubber by measuring changes in its properties before and after immersion in the test liquid; it is intended for tests in which only one surface of the specimen is in contact with the liquid.

Meets the standard requirements of GB/T 1690-2010, “Test Method for Resistance of Vulcanized Rubber or Thermoplastic Rubber to Liquids.”

Container dimensions: Φ50 x 20 mm

The test apparatus comprises a base plate (A) and a cylindrical container with an open bottom (B), which are securely fastened together by a butterfly nut (D) and a bolt (E). The base plate, the cylindrical container, and the specimen (C) are firmly clamped in place. The base plate may be provided with a hole approximately 30 mm in diameter to ensure that the opposite side of the specimen remains free from contact with the test liquid. During testing, the opening at the top of the container shall be sealed with an appropriate lid (F).
