Description
Product Introduction
The borehole water‑pressure testing apparatus is used to determine the permeability of rock masses, assess their seepage characteristics, and provide fundamental experimental data for designing seepage control measures. Its piping system employs non‑welded connections. The testing fluid circuit is separated from the driving fluid circuit, and a variety of test fluids can be employed. The equipment has been designed and developed in accordance with the Ministry of Water Resources’ SL 31‑2003 “Code for Borehole Water‑Pressure Testing in Hydraulic and Hydroelectric Engineering” and SL 345‑2007 “Code for Water‑Injection Testing in Hydraulic and Hydroelectric Engineering,” covering both constant-head and falling-head water‑injection test methods for boreholes.
Equipment composition:
(1) Water-stop plug:
Water-stop plugs shall comply with the following requirements:
1. The embolization length shall be no less than eight times the borehole diameter.
2. The waterstop shall be reliable and easy to operate; hydraulic or pneumatic plugging is recommended.
(2) Water supply equipment:
The pump used in the test shall meet the following requirements:
1. Reliable operation, stable pressure, and uniform water output;
2. At a pressure of 1 MPa, the flow rate shall be maintained at 100 L/min; a pressure‑stabilizing air chamber with a capacity greater than 51 liters shall be installed at the pump outlet, and the suction inlet shall be fitted with one to two layers of filter mesh having apertures smaller than 2 mm. The distance between the suction inlet and the bottom of the water tank shall be no less than 0.3 m. The water‑supply regulating valve shall be flexible and reliable, leak‑free, and preferably not shared with the drilling system.
(3) Measuring equipment:
Pressure gauges and pressure sensors used for pressure measurement shall meet the following requirements:
1. The pressure gauge shall respond promptly; after depressurization, the pointer shall return to zero, and the measurement range shall be maintained within 1/3 to 3/4 of the maximum pressure rating.
2. The pressure sensor’s pressure range shall exceed the test pressure. The flow meter shall operate normally at a pressure of 1.5 MPa, with a measurement range that matches the pump’s output and the capability to measure both forward and reverse flow.
3. It is advisable to conduct the water-pressure test using an automatic recorder capable of measuring both pressure and flow rate.
4. The water level gauge shall be sensitive and reliable, unaffected by water adhering to the borehole wall or dripping within the hole. The gauge’s lead wires shall be regularly inspected.
5. Instruments used for testing shall be stored separately, not shared with drilling operations, and subjected to regular verification.
Equipment Features:
1. Use a high-flow water pump.
2. The structural design is well‑thought‑out, featuring a compact size, light weight, and an elegant, aesthetically pleasing appearance.
3. All pressure-bearing components are made from standard, branded parts, ensuring easy disassembly, a high safety factor, long service life, and convenient maintenance.
4. Pump flow rate: 0–100 L/min
5. Pressure test range: 1 MPa; select the appropriate pressure level based on the customer’s specific requirements.
6. Automatic acquisition of pressure equivalents.
