Product Introduction

The YSZJ‑type portable direct shear apparatus (a multifunctional testing instrument for rock and soil mechanics) is primarily used to conduct mechanical property tests on rocks and soils. By replacing various fixtures, it can perform the following distinct tests:

(1) Rock deformation testing;

(2) Rock compressive strength test;

(3) Rock point-load strength test (capable of conducting compressive strength tests on core samples of various diameters—ranging from medium to small—as well as irregular-shaped specimens, using domestic drilling rigs. Compressive strength can be measured up to 5 MPa (for soft rocks);

(4) Direct shear test on rock (suitable for medium- to small-diameter core samples from domestic drilling rigs and for cubic specimens with a cross-section of 5 cm × 5 cm);

(5) Direct shear tests on rock structural planes and weak rocks (suitable for irregular specimens that are difficult to machine into standard shapes);

(6) Direct shear test (directly determines the shear strength parameters of core samples obtained from boreholes, with a shear area that may exceed the cross-sectional area of the ring cutter); This instrument features a rational design, compact structure, precise manufacturing, small size, light weight, detachable packaging for easy transport, straightforward on-site installation, simple operation, rapid testing, convenient maintenance, and an affordable price. Applications: It is widely suitable for field tests conducted by engineering geological exploration teams, testing units, colleges and universities, and research institutions, primarily used for performing the following test procedures either in the field or in the laboratory.
