LBTJ-2003 Retroreflective Sign Measuring Instrument

The LBTJ-2003 Retroreflective Sign Measuring Instrument is a device designed for on-site measurement of the photometric performance—specifically the retroreflection coefficient R′—of retroreflective materials. It is a user-friendly, portable photoelectric instrument that can be employed by traffic safety authorities and relevant agencies in the road, rail, and aviation sectors to conduct field measurements of retroreflective signs. Additionally, it is suitable for assessing the retroreflective performance of reflective markings on commercial vehicle bodies and for monitoring the quality of retroreflective materials during production, thereby ensuring compliance with applicable standards. The instrument comprises an optical system, a detection and amplification subsystem, a power supply and control unit, a display system, and calibration blocks. To facilitate calibration of the instrument’s readings, a set of calibration blocks is provided, guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of measurement results. Measurement values are displayed on an LCD digital readout, and the device is powered by a lithium‑ion battery.

To facilitate the calibration of the instrument’s readings, it is also equipped with a set of calibration blocks, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the measured values. The instrument uses an LCD digital display to indicate measurement results and is powered by a lithium battery.
