Product Introduction:

The LBMC-2005 Road Dynamic Rotational Friction Coefficient Tester was developed in accordance with the Ministry of Transport’s JTG E60‑2008 “Field Test Procedures for Highway Subgrades and Pavements” and the U.S. ASTM E1911‑2009 Standard Test Method for Determining Pavement Friction Characteristics Using a Dynamic Friction Tester. This instrument is a user‑friendly, portable device designed to measure the dynamic coefficient of friction between two sliding contact surfaces, recording data in graphical form during the measurement process.

Product Features:

1. The test data represent a continuous, dynamically varying friction coefficient curve that fluctuates randomly with speed and exhibits excellent repeatability.

2. Fast testing speed: Testing and data recording are completed simultaneously in a very short time.

3. This instrument consists of two compactly designed components and can be transported in a standard passenger car.

4. Although compact in size, this dynamic friction coefficient tester can simulate both the actual vehicle speeds and the typical loads imposed on road surfaces by motor vehicles, yielding test results that closely reflect real-world conditions.

5. This instrument is powered directly by a vehicle battery (12 V DC).

6. No specialized skills are required, and the measurement data are unaffected by operator variability.

7. The dynamic coefficient of friction at each speed can be determined from the continuous curve (with a maximum speed of up to 80 km/h).

8. The standard test rubber pad is made of the same material as that used for the friction‑testing vehicle’s tires, and the test pad is easy to replace.

9. It features a large LCD display, a touch panel, and keyboard input, eliminating the need for a computer on site.

10. Measurement data can be stored in the data logger and transferred to a computer for further processing.
