Product Introduction:

This machining method serves as a complementary approach for non-conductive materials that are difficult to process on wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) machines. It particularly excels when machining graphite, which is challenging to cut with WEDM; moreover, it can be used to fabricate and cut cylindrical or square specimens from a wide range of non-metallic materials—including concrete and rock—as well as from brittle materials such as ceramics, epoxy laminates, ferrites, semiconductor materials, glass, carbon‑fiber composites, and refractory bricks—provided they are electrically insulating.
